Still Confused about Vaccines?

Dan Olmsted if the reporter who wrote the Age of Autism series for the UPI, where, for example, he looked all over the place (and still hasn't been able to find) an autistic Amish child ( = they don't vaccinate).

I've contributed a piece on what we think happened to our son. You can have the added bonus of learning new vocabulary words: "The Word of the Day Is..."

I am speechless. That is the first time I have read in detail of your ordeal with "autism" and the medical community. I am so horrified that you were treated the way you were and so sorry for the pain this has caused/ is causing your son.

I have had my own ordeal with doctors who medicated me and did not believe my side effects. That is my birth control saga and most people act like I'm a raving lunatic when I talk about the dangers of oral contraceptives so I've learned to keep quiet(er). But what you have ordealed - there is no comparison. Except for spreading the knowledge that doctors are not god and do not always know best.

  4. Hi Ali--

Yeah, well multiply our experience by how many million other people...

And yes, I'm hearing from TONS of people who think they've become infertile (irregular cycles) after only one time on the pill!

God, that makes me want to cry, just thinking about how many other people.... It's like being in an alternate universe when you are at odds with the medical community.

On another note, I was thinking about doing a nutrition course of study next year. I figured in this day and age people need something they can feel control over when it comes to their bodies and also gain knowledge to be able to listen to themselves.

  6. Yes, that would be a great idea. Doctors know so little about nutrition, and don't seem to care!
