The Meatrix Trilogy

A clever spoof on the "Matrix" series, the Meatrix trilogy that you can show as kind of a ha-ha thing that will hopefully convince your friends and family to eat local, especially meat! You can watch it for free here.

And here's a eco-friendly site for kids: http://www.MeetTheGreens.org/
that comes from WGBH in Boston, the producer of shows like ZOOM, ARTHUR, & FETCH as well as Frontline, Antiques Roadshow & NOVA, and it's similarly interactive.

You can watch the first episode of The Greens here for free.

Oh, I love the Meatrix! I think it's great that environmental eating is moving away from strict vegetarianism/veganism and towards sustainable and ethical practices. Go ahead and eat that dairy - just make sure it doesn't come from a factory farm. My TCM doctor phrased it in a way that rings in my ear - if you are consuming dairy from sick cows what you are eating is the product of illness. Same thing with eggs/meat. I can't even enjoy food from factory farms anymore because I think of it as "sick" and it colors the taste and entire experience for me.
